This is a robust and professional 6 month course covering all areas of Minor Illness.   The aim of the course is to enable a practitioner to have the skills, confidence and competence to consult, diagnose and treat patients in a Minor Illness setting. This may be someone upskilling within Primary Care or a practitioner joining Primary Care from Secondary or Tertiary care.

  • Abdominal/Gastroenterological presentations
  • Urological and gynaecological illness
  • Rashes, eczema and acne
  • Eyes 
  • Backpain

  • Adult and paediatric illness
  • Examination skills
  • There are 2 online study days, 4 face to face days which includes the exam day.
  • A Portfolio on Evidence is built throughout the course supporting the final exam and OSCE assessment.
  • Face to face delivery is at the Thame Mercure Lambert Hotel, Aston Rowant, OX49 5SQ. Jnc 6 M40.
